Special Report of Piracy.

Wong-hee Cheong Master of

Fishing Boat belonging to Ping-chow

states that on the morning of the 24th he left Fow-moon-on

and on the evening of the 25th when sailing off and close to Now-E was attacked by two pirate boats each having more than 20 men armed with Cannon and Muskets;

on their approaching they fired one Cannon Shot and several Muskets the latter wounding one of the Crew who fell down on the deck. On seeing this informant jumped overboard and succeeded in swimming on shore-

Boat of informant had a crew of 5 in number exclusive of himself. No cargo-
